Browser - Activities : Reservation Strategy

The setting every Activity Resource Type is created with, and the four values it can take

Every Activity Resource Type carries a Reservation Strategy, chosen when the resource type is created. Each option is named for the combination of date, time, duration, participants, and rate it uses.

Where to set it
  1. Open Settings using the gear at the bottom of the left navigation.
  2. Select Activity Center, then the Activity Resource Type tab.
  3. Click ADD NEW.
  4. Choose a value in the Reservation Strategy dropdown.
The four strategies

The dropdown opens on -- Select -- and offers:

  • DateTimeParticipantsRate
  • DateRateParticipantsTime
  • DateTimeDurationRate
  • DateDurationTimeRate

Each option is named for the fields it combines.

Which strategy should I pick?

It depends on how you sell the resource. If you are unsure which fits, check it with your Club Caddie contact before you create bookings against it.
