Browser - Reports : GHIN Rounds Report
Check rounds against GHIN postings without leaving the browser app
The GHIN Rounds Report puts your rounds data and your GHIN handicap details side by side in one place. Instead of opening play history in one screen and checking postings in another, you get both in a single view - which makes it much faster to confirm a round actually posted, or to work out why a player's handicap looks wrong.
If your facility doesn't have an active GHIN integration, this report won't return anything. That's worth checking before you go hunting for missing data.
Before you start
Two things have to be true.
First, your facility needs an active GHIN integration. Second, the report has to be enabled for your role. If nobody at your facility can see it, that's the first thing to check.
Each permission saves the moment you switch it - DONE and CANCEL both just close the panel, and neither undoes a change. To turn it on, open Settings and go to Manage Roles. Find the role that needs access, open its ... menu and choose Edit Permissions. If the Reports row isn't already expanded, select the expand icon next to it to reveal the individual report toggles, then find GHIN Rounds Report and switch it on. Close the panel with DONE. The change is saved as you make it, but the person you granted it to won't see the report until they sign out and back in - their menu is built when they log in.
Running the report
Step 1 - Open Reports from the navigation on the left, then select GHIN Rounds Report from the report list. You may need to scroll the list - it's alphabetical.
Step 2 - The report runs on its own as soon as it opens, showing today's rounds by default.
Both date pickers start on today, so what you're looking at on arrival is today's rounds only. An empty report at 8 a.m. usually just means nobody has played yet.
Step 3 - Set the date range you actually want. Use the two date pickers above the report to set your start and end dates.
Step 4 - Select Generate Report. Changing the dates on their own doesn't refresh anything, so this step isn't optional - if your numbers look stale, this is almost always why. You'll see a brief loading spinner while the report rebuilds. Larger date ranges take longer, so give it a moment to finish.
Step 5 - Read across each row to see the round details next to the matching GHIN information. This is where you confirm a round posted, or spot a player whose rounds aren't reaching GHIN at all.
Common Questions
Why don't I see the GHIN Rounds Report in my Reports menu?
It's enabled per role. Ask whoever manages your roles to open the role's ... menu, choose Edit Permissions, expand the Reports row, and switch the report on. Then sign out and back in - your Reports menu is built at login, so a permission granted mid-session won't show up until you start a new one.
Why is the report empty?
Check the date range first - it opens on today, so it's empty until someone plays that day. If you've widened the range and it's still empty, check whether your GHIN integration is active.
Do I need to click anything after changing the dates?
Yes - select Generate Report. The date fields on their own don't re-run anything.
Can I export it?
The report renders in an embedded viewer, and export options come from that viewer rather than from Club Caddie. Use whatever export or print controls the viewer shows you.
