Browser - Sales: Filtering by Date Range

Narrow your sales history to a day, a preset range, or a custom span

Overview

The Sales screen's filter bar includes a date range control so you can pull up orders from a specific day, a preset window like "Last 7 Days," or a custom span.

What it looks like

The date control sits in the filter bar, showing the placeholder text Select date range... until you pick one.

Filtering by date range
  1. On the Sales screen, click the date field in the filter bar (placeholder: Select date range...).
  2. A calendar opens with a list of presets on one side, including Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 14 Days, Last 30 Days, This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, Month to Date (MTD), and This Year.
  3. Click a preset, or select a custom start and end date on the calendar. The date field fills in as

soon as both dates are picked. Click OK to close the calendar.

  1. Click Search to apply the date range along with any other filters or search text you've set.

The order list does not change until you click Search — closing the calendar on its own doesn't run anything.

  1. Click Clear to remove the date range along with the rest of the filter bar and return to the default recent-orders view.
Common Questions

Does picking a date range run the search automatically?

No — after you pick a range, click Search to apply it to the order list.

Can I combine a date range with a payment method or search term?

Yes — the date range applies together with whatever else you've set in the filter bar (search text, payment method, location, terminal, employee) when you click Search.
