Where the customer facing portal pieces are configured, and what the Member Portal Builder shows you

Most of Settings changes what your staff see. I-Frames is one of the few places that changes what your customers see: the member portal, the customer portal, the banner images, and the links your website embeds. It is worth knowing the layout before you touch it.

The five tabs

Open Settings using the gear at the bottom of the left navigation and select I-Frames. Five tabs run across the top:

  • URL lists the iframe links, for example a tee time iframe for each course.
  • I-Frame Banner, for the banner images.
  • Member Portal Builder, which lists the sections of the member portal and is covered below.
  • Settings and Customer Portal Builder, whose contents are outside this article.
Reading the Member Portal Builder

The builder is a list of the sections your member portal offers. Each row carries three things:

  • Identifier, the section's internal name, such as TeeSheet, BookTeeTime, Events, Punchcards, MyTeeTimes, InvoicePayment, PaymentHistory, or Directory.
  • Title, the wording members see for that section.
  • Display Order, the section's position in the portal.

If a member asks why a page is missing from their portal, or why it is labeled a certain way, this list is the first place to look.

Where do I change what members see in the portal?

Is the customer portal the same as the member portal?

They are configured on separate tabs, Customer Portal Builder and Member Portal Builder.
