Browser - Tee Sheet : Group Quick Pay

Take one payment for several players on the same tee time and check them all in

Overview

When one golfer is covering the group, Group Quick Pay takes one payment for several bookings on the same tee time. Tick the bookings you are paying for, right-click, and choose Group Quick Pay. When the players still owe for their tee times, one Payment Mode window opens with a single combined amount due. When the payment goes through, those players are checked in.

It works on separate bookings. If the group was booked together with Reserve, split it first.

Before you start
  • The players are on the Tee Sheet and not checked in yet.
  • The players are on separate bookings. If only the first player in the group shows a tick box, follow "Split the group into separate bookings" below first.
Split the group into separate bookings
  1. Open Tee Sheet and find the group's tee time.
  2. Right-click the group's booking and choose Split Reserve.

  3. Check that each player you are paying for now shows a tick box.
Take one payment for the group
  1. Tick the box on each booking you are paying for.
  2. Right-click one of the ticked bookings and choose Group Quick Pay. It is the first item in the menu.

  3. In Payment Mode, check the Total Amount. It is the combined amount due for the ticked bookings, tax included.
  4. Choose a payment type, click Ok, and finish the payment on the screen that follows. For Cash, for example, click Pay Exact Amount.

  5. When you see Order was placed successful., the players are checked in and their cards turn green.
Common Questions

When does Group Quick Pay show in the right-click menu?

It shows once two or more bookings are ticked and the booking you right-click is not checked in yet. If only the first player in the group has a tick box, the group is still on one booking: right-click it and choose Split Reserve first.

Does the group get one order or one order per player?

One order, with a separate line for each booking.

How do I undo a group payment?

Void the order in Sales. When it is voided, the players go back to Reserved and are no longer checked in.

Can I take payment while I'm booking the group?

In the booking window, you can click Quick Pay instead of Reserve. For the steps, see Browser - Tee Sheet : Quick Pay.
