Events : Individual Online Event Links

Article Contents: Learn how to copy and share a direct link that opens a specific Online Event, so customers land on the exact event you’re promoting.

Step-by-Step:

Step 1: Select the Events module and the select Online Events from the menu.

Step 2: Here you will have two options to share the link for the individual event:

A) To be taken directly to the website, Select Action and Registrations Link. 

When using this option, after you have selected the link and taken to the website, do not copy and paste the URL to share/embed unless removing the end part of the link starting with "interaction". If you would like to share the link with others, follow step B.


B) Select View/Edit to open the event window. Then, select the "Online Registration" tab. Here you can copy the link, and that is the link that you can share with others.
However, just like in step A, once you enter it into a browser, you cannot copy that link from the website unless you remove the ending starting with "interaction".




Step 3: When sharing the link, remember that you must copy the link from the event window. If you are copying from the browser, you must remove anything after "interaction" from the url before sharing. Not doing so will produce an error.
