F&B App: Assign Items To Other Tabs After An Order Has Been Split
Article Contents: This article shows you how to move a single item to a different tab (or create a new tab) after an order has already been split.
Step-by-Step:
Step 1: Open the ticket that has already been split. You should see multiple tabs across the top of the order panel Ex. Tab 1, Tab 2, Tab 3, etc.
Step 2: Tap the tab that currently contains the item you need to move.
Step 3: Tap the Move Item to dropdown, then select where you want the item to go:

Select Tab 1 / Tab 2 / Tab 3 / … to move it to an existing tab, or

Select Add to New Seat Order to create a new tab and move the item there.
Wait for the order to finish saving. You may briefly see a message like “saving an order…”

Step 4: Tap Done to close the item options panel.
Step 5: Tap the destination tab to confirm the item moved to the correct tab (or that the new tab was created and contains the item).
Example Scenario:
A group at the turn starts on one tab, but one golfer decides to pay separately after the order is already split. The operator opens the ticket, taps the tab with the golfer’s beverage, and uses Move Item to to send that item to a new seat order. After the system saves, the operator taps the new tab to confirm the item is there. The group can now check out with the correct items on each tab.
