Hardware : Add Custom Paper Size
Article Contents: This articles covers the process of creating a custom paper size within the printer properties in Windows Devices and Printers.
Step 1: Search for and open Control Panel, and then click View devices and printers. Select the printer that is being cut off.
If your receipt printer is cutting off receipts, the issue is typically caused by an incorrect paper size setting. You can resolve it by defining a custom paper size with a maximum length of 3000 mm (or 118 inches) in your printer settings. Follow the steps below — Steps 1–3 apply to modern Windows systems (Windows 8, 10, and 11); Steps 4–9 apply to Windows 7.
Select Print Preferences then select Layout.
Step 2: Select User Defined Paper Size. It will open up a new window to define the new paper size. Depending on your printer model set the max printer width and set the maximum paper length to either the system defined max -3276mm- or a rough max length of ~3000 mm.

Step 3: After defining the paper size, name the preset and select Save Paper Size. In the Layout or paper size dropdown within Print Preferences, select your newly saved custom paper size. Then select Apply and then OK to close printer preferences. Hit Apply and then Ok in printer preferences.
Step 4: (Steps 4–9 apply to older Windows systems such as Windows 7. Note: Windows 7 reached end of life in January 2020 and is no longer supported by Microsoft. Verify that these steps apply to your environment before proceeding.) Search for and open Control Panel, and then click View devices and printers. Click the icon for your printer, and then click Print server properties. NOTE:
If Print server properties is not available, right-click an empty area in the Printers window, select Run as administrator from the drop-down menu, and then select Server Properties.
Step 5: If the User Account Control window displays, click Continue. On the Forms tab, select the Create a new form check box, and then type a new, unique name for the custom paper size in the Form name box.

Step 6: Select Metric or English as the measurement unit, and then enter Width and Height dimensions. Keep the margin settings at 0.00.
Step 7: Set the maximum paper length to 3000 mm (or 118 inches) to prevent receipts from being cut off. Save your newly created print length.
Step 8: In your receipt printer settings select your newly created print length defined above.
Step 9: Test print.
