Banquet Manager - Closing Events

This article provides instructions on how to close a Banquet event. 

Step-By-Step:

Step 1: From the EVENTS module (1) navigate to Banquet Manager (2) in the left menu pane. 



Step 2: Select the event to be closed from the BANQUET MANAGER list of events (1). Double-clicking on the event or clicking the event's ACTION button and selecting View/Edit (2) will open an EDIT EVENT window. 



Before executing Step 3, please ensure all event items have been included. Once closed, event adjustments could lead to inaccurate reporting. 

Events are to be closed on the actual event date. Closing on the event date allows for proper revenue recognition. Once closed, all event items will convert to a status of revenue received. 

Final payment input/receipt is not necessary to close events.

Step 3: Navigate to the Payment tab. Select Close Event. This will populate the date that you closed the event in the "closing date" field. 




Step 4:  A closing Confirmation window will appear upon clicking on "close event" and you'll select Yes to proceed with the event closing (1).
