Register - Round up for Charity

This article contains a step-by-step guide on how to round up for charity when checking out a purchase.
Round up for charity is a feature that allows customers to donate the change from their purchases to a cause of your choice by rounding up their total purchase to the next whole dollar. Ex. a $1.61 purchase will become $2.00 once the charity details are applied.
Step 1: Go to the REGISTER module from the main menu.
Step 2: After selecting your items to purchase, click on "Pay" to initiate the checkout process. This total is what will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Step 3: Choose the correct payment method. Check the "Charity Contribution" box, and then select your charity of choice from the drop down menu.

Please note the charity contribution on receipt, as well as populating to your pre-selected chart of accounts which can be found in the GL code report.
