Voucher Management - Credit Book Vouchers Overview

This article contains a full overview of the voucher management tab found within the point-of-sale.

Step -By -Step:-

Step 1:- 
 Click on the "Voucher" tab from the top navigation bar.



Step 2:-
 
  You may select any of your custom credit type options from the left-hand navigation menu, for this example, we will select  "Credit Book Vouchers". 



Step 3:- Upon selection you will have two different tabs the "Credit book" and the "Holding Account" views.



Step 4 A) Upon clicking into the "Credit Book" tab you will see all of the voucher records for this particular voucher type. Details on each voucher include:
  1. Voucher ID: System generated voucher ID.
  2. Voucher No: This is the user-generated id that you specified at the time of its creation.
  3. Voucher Type: Displays the voucher type for reference and if multiple custom types are created in the respective voucher section.
  4. Customer ID: Displays the customer id if one was defined and tied to the voucher.
  5. Customer First Name: Displays the customer's first name if one was defined and tied to the voucher.
  6. Voucher Expiration: Displays the date currently set for the voucher to expire and moved to a closed state. If a credit/debit account is defined to receive the voucher balance on its expiration this will also be triggered on this date.
  7. Current Voucher State: Displays the current status of the individual voucher as either open or closed.
You can also edit and view the voucher by using the "Edit" and "View" options.



 B) Upon clicking into the "Holding Account" tab you will see all of the voucher records for this particular voucher type. Details on each voucher include:

Note: Holding accounts are a credit book deposit account. When creating a new credit book distribution, the system uses the amount specified in the Holding Account.
