Register : Membership Payments — Added To Existing Tab

Article Contents: How membership payments processed from the Tools menu now add to an existing open register tab instead of creating a new one.

If there's already an open tab in the register for a member, processing a membership payment from the Tools menu will now add it to that existing tab — instead of creating a separate one. This keeps everything in a single transaction and avoids the confusion of two open tabs for the same customer.

How It Works
  1. Open a tab in the Register for the member — or confirm an existing tab is already open.
  2. Go to Tools in the register and select Membership Payment.
  3. The membership payment will be added to the member's existing open tab, not a new one.
  4. Complete the transaction and process payment from the existing tab as normal.


 

Notes
  • This only affects membership payments processed through Tools in the Register. Membership payments made elsewhere are not affected.
  • If you need the membership payment on a separate transaction, close or pay out the existing tab before processing the membership payment.
