A Desktop Register setting controls whether Move Items appears in the F&B app
Overview
A checkbox in Desktop Register Settings, Enable Item Movement Tool, controls whether the Move Items button appears in the F&B Mobile App. When it's checked, F&B staff see the Move Items button in the app. When it's unchecked — which is the default — the button is hidden.
Use it to keep the F&B Mobile App clean for staff whose work doesn't involve moving items between tabs or seats.

Step 1: Open Register Settings on the Desktop
On the Desktop, go to Settings → Register Settings.
Scroll down the settings list. Enable Item Movement Tool sits just below Show Notes On Receipts and just above PO / Barcode Course Identifiers.
Step 2: Check or Uncheck Enable Item Movement Tool
- Checked = the Move Items button appears in the F&B Mobile App
- Unchecked = the button is hidden
The default is unchecked, so the button stays hidden until someone turns it on.
Save the setting. Staff already signed in to the F&B app may need to sign out and back in before the change takes effect.
What Staff Will See
When Enable Item Movement Tool is checked, staff see a Move Items button on the tab or section view in the F&B Mobile App. Tapping it starts the move — choose a destination tab, seat, or section, then confirm.
When it's unchecked, the button isn't there and staff can't start a move from the app.
The Move Items tool is not on the Desktop Register screen. The setting lives in Desktop Register Settings, but the tool it controls exists only in the F&B Mobile App.
Move Items moves every item in the section. There is no per-item selection — plan the move accordingly if only some items need to change tabs.

Why don't I see the Move Items button in the F&B Mobile App after updating to 5.6?
The button is hidden by default. A manager needs to check Enable Item Movement Tool in Desktop Register Settings.
