F&B App: Ramp-Up Checklist
Use this checklist to gather the required hardware, confirm pricing, and get your Club Caddie F&B App ready for service.
Prerequisites/Notes:
-
The Club Caddie F&B App is iPad-based (an iPad is required).
-
Your existing menu items and modifiers carry into the F&B App, unless you choose to update your menu.
-
Printers must support Cloud Print/CloudPRNT and be on the same network as your iPad.
-
Clover Go is ordered through Cardpointe (Fiserv) and is used to take card payments with the iPad.
What you’ll need:
• iPad (required): The app is iPad-based. Most iPads work—if you already have one (even an older model), it’s worth trying before you buy new.
- iPad cases: iPad cases
• Printers (Cloud Print)
- Kitchen printer
- Bar receipt printer
• Clover Go (Cardpointe) - You'll need to connect with Cardpointe to order a Clover Go

Step-by-Step:
Step 1: Confirm your monthly F&B pricing with a team member from Club Caddie.
- customersuccess@clubcaddie.com
Step 2: Prepare an iPad for service. If you already have an iPad (even an older model), try it first before purchasing a new one.
Step 3: Add a protective iPad case that fits your service environment (bar top, beverage cart, halfway house, etc.) to reduce damage risk.
Step 4: Purchase and stage your Cloud Print printers. Plan for a kitchen printer (kitchen ticket printing) and a bar receipt printer (receipt printing). Common setups use a kitchen impact printer and a bar thermal receipt printer that support CloudPRNT.
Step 5: Make sure your iPad and printers will be on the same stable Wi-Fi network and have reliable power where they will be used (kitchen, bar, or service window).
Step 6: Order Clover Go through Cardpointe (Fiserv). Use the contact details below to request the device:
Email: newccequipment@fiserv.com
Phone: 877-828-0720
Clover Go (Cardpointe) attaches to the back of the iPad.

Step 7: Once you have the iPad, printers, and Clover Go, reply to your Club Caddie contact or reach out to your Customer Success Manager so we can help connect the printers and pair Clover Go.
Step 8: Run a full test before opening service: print a kitchen ticket, print a receipt, and process a small test payment. If you’re changing anything on the menu, verify items and modifiers display correctly in the F&B App before your first rush.
Example Scenario:
Your course is reopening the grill for the season and expects a busy Saturday shotgun start. You confirm you already have the F&B Module, stage an iPad with a protective case at the bar, and install a kitchen printer for tickets and a receipt printer for the bar. You order Clover Go through Cardpointe so staff can take quick payments without leaving the counter. Once the hardware arrives, your Customer Success Manager helps connect the printers and Clover Go, and you run a few test orders so everything is ready for opening day.
