Browser - Settings: Communication Center

Communication Center is where you manage outbound emails sent on behalf of the facility and webhook integrations with third-party services. The page has two tabs: Club Emails for email-sender configuration, and Webhook for integration endpoints.

Step-by-Step: Get to Communication Center

Step 1: Settings → Communication Center.

Step 2: The page opens to the Club Emails tab by default.

Club Emails tab

The Club Emails tab lists every email sender configured for the facility. The table shows:

  • Id, Name (sender display name), Email (the actual address), Email Type (what the sender is used for), Action (3-dot menu)

Use the search row above the table to find a sender by name, email, or type.

Add a Club Email sender

Step 1: Click ADD CLUB EMAIL in the top-right (green button).

Step 2: A right-side panel opens with three fields: Name, Email, Email Type.

Step 3: Fill in the Name and Email.

Step 4: Pick an Email Type:

  • Default
  • Membership Sale
  • Great Plains

Step 5: Click Save (green) to add the sender, or Close (red outline) to discard.

NOTE: The same side panel is used for adding new senders and viewing/editing existing ones. The header reads "EDIT CLUB EMAIL" in both modes — that's a known UI quirk we've flagged. The form works the same either way.

View, edit, or delete a sender

Step 1: In the Action column for the row, click the 3-dot menu.

Step 2: Pick View/Edit (eye icon) to open the side panel populated with that sender's details, or Delete (red trash icon) to remove the sender.

Step 3: If you opened View/Edit, change any field and click Save.

Webhook tab

The Webhook tab lists integration endpoints — URLs that Club Caddie calls when specific events happen (like adding a new customer or member). The table shows:

  • Id, URL (the endpoint Club Caddie calls), Type (which event triggers the call), Action (3-dot menu)

Use the search row to filter by URL or Type.

Add a Webhook

Step 1: Click ADD WEBHOOK (green button, top-right).

Step 2: A side panel opens with two fields: URL and Type.

Step 3: Enter the endpoint URL where Club Caddie should send the event payload.

Step 4: Pick a Type from the dropdown:

  • BGMCustomerAdd — fires when a new customer is added
  • BGMMemberAdd — fires when a new member is added

Step 5: Click Save (green) to register the webhook, or Close (red outline) to discard.

Important note: If you don't see an Email Type you expect (like the system-generated CommunicationsMailer type that appears on existing rows), it's reserved for system use and isn't user-creatable. Reach out to Club Caddie support if you need a type that's not in the dropdown.

Who uses this and when

General Manager, Owner, Marketing staff, or Admin users who configure facility email senders and integrations. Use it during initial setup, when adding a new email type, or when wiring up a third-party integration.
